Sherry Jenkins 4 months agoThis place is perfect for both fun and exercise with outdoor workout stations and lots of open grass for relaxing or playing. It also has a big playground, fishing area, dog friendly spaces and plenty of parking so it is easy for everyone to enjoy.
Stacy Connors 4 months agoBeautiful park it has a pond/lake ppl fish. Nice playground for the kids w/ restrooms. I like personally during the week days afternoons not many ppl to walk my GSD :)
Rachel Erickson 2 months agoMy kids love this park! The playground has nice climbing structures and swings. There's a large grass area and a pond. It has bathrooms which are always a must with little kids.
Chris Sewell 2 years agoWe love this little oasis in the desert. It's around a half-mile walk along the canal from Broadway road so we found it ideally suited to our morning walks. And for what it is, it packs a punch above its weight. Primarily it's a patch of green with a pool, a play/exercise area with restrooms and parking spaces. Of course it's a dual function facility. It also serves as a flood cistern. So if it's really wet out, the pond creeps out of its spot and pushes the humans back. It's just the balance of nature. The restrooms I would say are functional - they're ok. They might not be as sparkly as you would expect a hotel bathroom to be, but then it's not a hotel environment. They seem to be regularly cleaned and disinfected and I didn't ever see any wildlife in there. Let's just say that I'd probably pick my child up and aim him at the urinal. It's ok. But it excels as a park. People fishing in the lake and lots of wildlife. As non experts we saw what we labelled as big fish, a pair of Bald Eagles, Cormorants, a Heron, and ducks galore. And, as far as I could tell there was wheelchair access all over. It makes an interesting visit for both adults and children.
