The park is overrun with homeless drug addicts and it's not safe for children, or for anyone really. There's a pedestrian path going to the park where homeless people openly defecate and get high, so you'll see it littered with straws, foils and 💩. That's where the attached photo was taken. One morning I was walking by the pedestrian path and the police had the path taped off because someone OD'ed there. And it's not uncommon to find bullet casings walking around the park either.

Nice park from my estimate. I walk around it at sunset sometimes, there are always kids playing and people hanging out with their dogs. Seems relatively safe, there are a few homeless people here and there, but none of them have ever bothered me whatsoever so I don't really mind. If anything I feel sorry they are in a situation that they have to reside at the park. As long as they do not harass me, we cool! I live nearby so it's nice to have a grassy area close to walk to and I don't need my car so parking isn't an issue for me either. I dig this park! 🌞

A great public city park. there's plenty of open grassy area, which is rare in Southern Arizona. Tables and gazebos. Public restrooms that are cleaned periodically. There's usually a staff member of some sort on site. I fly my RC aircraft safely with no complaints by staff law enforcement vor civilians. And there's a nice pool!

It's an excellent public facility with a great place to cool off. Water slides and lots to do for the kids.i like to go early and fly my remote controlled models.
