I'm glad they maintained the character of the parks original design. I grew up in the area so Boysen Park was a place me & my friends spent a lot of our time. Its been 3 decades & although theres been changes to the park the heart remains. Now I bring my kids by so they can experience some of the fun I had growing up. The rocket doesn't have the death slide but it's still cool. The plane needs some restoration but please don't ever remove it.

We have visited the big playground. Well, the equipment is pretty old but still stylish. I think especially the boys would have the fun - the jet, the spaceship.. but there is also a space for little ones - my toddler enjoyed the slides.

The airplane park is my all time favorite park from back when I was little in the 80s. It has aged so gracefully and maintained the feel of this treasured little spot. Im thrilled to see how it has been cared for all these years to allow my kid to enjoy all that this park has to offer! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Parking is plentiful and a great spot for a BBQ or picnic. Vagrant population is present but not overly noticeable and stuck to the parking lot areas during our visit.
