We stayed back in September at this campsite and it checked all the boxes. The views were absolutely beautiful—perfect for relaxing mornings and peaceful evenings by the fire. The sites were easy to access, with solid concrete parking pads that made setup quick and stress-free. Full hookups (water, electric, and sewer) worked perfectly the entire stay, which made everything super convenient. One of the highlights was the fire ring—it was ideal for cooking and we ended up making some really great meals right at our site. The campground also has a nice playground, which is great if you’re traveling with kids, and the showers were clean and well-maintained—always a big plus. Overall, a comfortable, scenic, and well-equipped spot that I’d definitely come back to.

Beautiful park. Outstanding campground. Very clean. Well spaced with trees/ bushes between most sites.

While the park is situated close to town, it is still wonderfully peaceful. Yes, you can hear loud cars on 115 from time to time, and Ft. Carson is right across the highway with all of its associated noises, but this is still a fabulous park. There great hiking and mountain biking trails to be had and it was not super busy at all. But we were here the second weekend of November.

This is one of the most beautiful parks, views are fantastic, weather wonderful. You can hike trails even with your dog, you can go bicycling. Plus it’s close enough to the city to shop or go to restaurants. And it’s extremely clean!!

My family stayed at one of their cabins. It was nice all the amenities of home but in an outdoor environment. It's right across from Fort Carson, so convenient if you're visiting Colorado Springs but still want to "camp" without the need to bring everything.
