Monument Valley Park North End Playground

Monument Valley Park is quite big overall, so this review is specific to the playground only, not the pickleball area, swimming pool, or trails. As of Summer 2023, the playground was excellent...5 stars. Beautiful Pikes Peak views, lush grass everywhere (thanks to the non-stop rain in June,) and enough cotton to make yourself a sweater. Seriously though, if you have a cotton tree allergy, do NOT come here. There was so much cotton on the grass that it looked like we just got some fresh snow. The homeless community didn't seem to be hanging out near the playground this particular day, so it was a fantastic experience! *However, I know it has gotten really bad in other areas of MVP, hence the 3 stars. I'm a Colorado Springs local, and unfortunately Liberalism has taken over the city. With Liberal views, you get Liberal policies, which means the homeless community and druggies get to take over. Watch your kids closely as drug paraphernalia can be found throughout MVP. Hopefully, city "leaders" catch a glimpse of these reviews and learn what a disgrace they are. 👍

Great park, and it connects to so many other trails and areas. There is a playground, but I can't review that part.

Beautiful park. Great for walks, runs, and bike rides. Lots of cool playgrounds for kids. Public restrooms in some areas. Some areas can be a bit dodgy. Don't go there at night unless you're a teenager looking to drink with your friends. Tsk. Tsk.

I was surprised how nice the park was. They've done a lot of improvements to it and it keeps getting better. A very nice walk and it would be a really nice bike ride 😊👍

This was an absolutely great find. Huge playground, beautiful duck pond and pavilion.
