if you’re new to the area or if youre local and somehow havent been here, definitely check it out!! its a great place for kids to play at the playground, picnics with friends, or to get a hike and some good views without going too far out of town. theres a bunch of different spots to park and trails to explore. also a good taste of wildlife in the city

Love this place just watch out for mountain lions. I have hiked here quite a few times and there are a few pretty cool *small caves and ancient rock formations to explore.. but about a month back I was hiking up by one of the caves and there was about 120 lb mountain lion that was standing on a rock staring at me and my friend. I can't sit here and say I'm shocked I mean it's Colorado but it's the first time I've ever encountered one and I do a lot of Hiking..We backed away slowly and I had bear spray *luckily* and especially now I just refuse to hike without it but thankfully in this situation I didn't have to use it. You don't really realize how big they are until you are right up on one 😬It didn't want anything to do with us and went on about its business but be aware that this is their territory 💯

I recently shot a wedding in Colorado Springs where we did the first look at Palmer Park and it was absolutely stunning. The view of Pike's Peak was gorgeous and make a perfect backdrop for couples photos. There were also wooded areas that almost gave a fall vibe for this late winter wedding.

It is a nice park they did a great job with all the concrete. It got rid of a lot of the dust of that part of the parking area. It has 2 spaces one for the bigger dogs and one side for the smaller dogs and cats 😀. Plus you can go for a nice walk through the hills. They have some great bike paths as well.

This is a great place to hike! I love all the established trails. Lots of great views. This is also a perfect place to take a date! Just don’t try any monkey business cause the cops to patrol the place. But it’s still private enough to make out just keep it PG!
