Located just steps away from my office this little slice of heaven is the BEST! When the busy office is driving you absolutely crazy, give this park named after a newspaper man with integrity, honor. You can eat at the picnic tables, or fix your bicycle with the free air pump and tool kit. Covered with trees to shade you from the hottest Washington, DC summer days and nights, give it a try, you will not be disappointed. A few blocks from The White House and hotel at Hampton Inn and restaurant, Panera Bread. The only thing missing is you! Enjoy.

Edward R Murrow Park is a charming, well-maintained space with open lawns, picnic areas, and playgrounds—great for families and community gatherings.

This park is right next to our hotel and we thought it would be a good place to hang out with our dog. It turns out in the evenings the rats and mice are everywhere. They left trash open overnight and no one seems to bother collecting them.

Kinda goofy tables/art installation but they are still tables which I appreciate on these beautiful fall days.

Nice place to meet. Very little metered parking. A lot of one way streets and plenty of traffic. Park was very nice.
