A really nice place for a walk! The area is very clean and feels very safe. There are plenty of trash bins, so there’s no litter on the ground. It’s right by the water along the Riverwalk, with lots of seating options, many benches and plenty of shade. Perfect for a relaxing stroll and enjoying the view.

We’d never more than drove through Jacksonville but spent a night here this weekend and walked seven minutes from the hotel to the Riverwalk after sunset and were not disappointed, as you can see in the photos. Well-lit and very safe: families, couples, children, everyone without feeling busy or cramped. Views of downtown are stunning. Short walk to the fountain in one direction and the sailor statue in the other. Make sure you visit if you’re in the area, not sure where you park, though, if you’re not walking here from elsewhere. You can even walk over the bridge to downtown proper, though that did not appear as safe and inviting as this side of the river, so we turned back.

Love going out and see the AMAZING views and the families running around playing and having fun! Amazing job Jax for making your city family friendly. Also stopped by Ruth Chris steakhouse which was sooooo delicious!! 🥰😊

The Riverwalk in Jacksonville is absolutely beautiful and a must-visit! The views of the St. Johns River are peaceful, and it’s the perfect place for a walk, bike ride, or just to relax outdoors. It’s very clean and well-maintained, with plenty of places to sit and enjoy the scenery. It’s also very pet-friendly, which is a huge plus—there are even small water fountains along the way for pets. The love locks along the Riverwalk are really interesting to look at, and the mural underneath the bridge makes for a great stop and photo opportunity. I loved the mix of nature, art, and city views. Whether you’re a local or visiting Jacksonville, this is a great spot to spend some time!

A beautiful place to walk, with amazing view. When we visit there last week we encountered the beautiful sightseeing of dolphins and they so gorgeous. They have also playground for the kids and fountain that give u refreshing feelings. Very clean as well.
