Honestly kind of scary. I was there by myself at 2PM (not many people around) and the canopy of trees blocks the sun, makes it cold; also the entire park is enclosed, with very few entrances and exits, and you can only walk along the trails, so I felt a bit trapped. In fact, finding the entrance was pretty difficult, I knew it was on 17th street but couldn't find it at first. The ground is difficult to walk on, as there are large roots and rocks, it's very uneven. Also at this time of year (january) the trees let out little fruits that fall on the ground, had to watch out to not step on them and they smelled pretty bad, like they were rotting. Not a very pleasant experience so I didn't see the whole park (I see now that other people have posted photos of a pond that looks pretty good, didn't get to see it). Overall wouldn't really reccomend it.

Amazing nature oasis in downtown Miami, which does NOT have enough parks! Very clean and great shade, only issue is the sound of the train passing constantly breaks relaxation 😢

This park is perfect for a nice, quiet stroll! It was peaceful just watch your step because the grounds have a lot of roots but it’s beautiful. I loved the descriptions of all the trees. It’s all shaded from the trees so it’s a great park to cool down a bit.

Park is creepy and full of trash needs a full reset. Walked in at 9am to try it walked right out.

Great little park in the middle of a residential neighborhood. Be real careful when walking in here. The rocks are really slippery and there’s a lot of exposed roots and a lot of exposed rock well worth a visit.
