Neil Rands a month agoA lovely park. Fine blend of well kept and natural beauty. The beach is lovely and great to be able to swim. There's showers and changing rooms, which are well maintained. Lovely family atmosphere. And you get to watch planes. Perfect
Bont Vansley 2 months agoI stopped by Cypress Point Park while I had some time to kill before a flight, and it turned out to be a really nice surprise. The park isn’t huge, but it’s peaceful and has a great view of the water. You can actually see planes taking off from the nearby airport, which I thought was kind of interesting rather than distracting. There’s a small beach area where you can walk along the sand or just sit and watch the waves. It’s not the kind of beach you’d travel far for, but it’s perfect if you’re already nearby and want somewhere quiet to unwind. I also noticed a few people having picnics and walking their dogs, so it feels like a local spot more than a tourist destination. The walking paths are short but nice enough, with some shaded areas if you don’t want to be in the sun the whole time. Parking was easy when I went, though I could see it getting a bit crowded during busier hours. Overall, it’s a simple, laid-back park. Not a must-see, but definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area and want a calm place by the water.
HJ Cox 4 months agoThe park is well-maintained, and the beachfront has a nice atmosphere. It seems possible to go kayaking or canoeing, but I’m not sure if swimming is allowed. From reviews, I saw photos of dogs on the beach and assumed it was dog-friendly, but dogs are actually not permitted on the beach. Still, you can enjoy the park and nearby areas with your dog. The beach itself isn’t particularly special, but the scattered shells were quite noticeable. Parking is free from Monday to Friday, from sunrise until 12 noon.
Hak 8 months agoGreat park, amazing places to spend your time with your family and your friends. You can easily make barbecues, kids can spend playing in the playground, and everyone can enjoy the beach. The beach has sharp glasses, he have to be very careful and wear shoes.
