Working as a professional car hauler, I recently had the opportunity to spend some time around Grant Park while delivering a load to Honda of Downtown Chicago. The area is impressive, even when you're viewing it from the cab of a truck. Navigating a large carrier through the city center can be a challenge, but the scenery in this part of town makes the drive worthwhile. Grant Park itself is a massive, well-kept green space that provides a great backdrop to the skyline. It’s clear why it’s considered the "front yard" of the city.

The park is always clean and well-kept, with plenty of open lawns and shaded paths for jogging or picnicking. What I like most is how easy it is to reach from anywhere downtown — just a short walk from Millennium Park or the Art Institute. The combination of city energy and natural beauty makes Grant Park an ideal spot for both locals and tourists. Whether you’re looking for a morning run, an afternoon picnic, or an evening stroll, you’ll always find something enjoyable here.
