I stopped by yesterday afternoon just to take a quick break from walking around State Street. It was such a breeze to find a spot to sit and just enjoy the open air for a few minutes. The whole vibe felt very laid back and easy, making it a nice little shortcut to clear my head before heading back into the crowd.

Do not go in this park. This park is sketchy and by all means dangerous with homeless and druggies all around. Be aware. The sidewalk and street is perfectly fine, but do not go in this "park".

We have had 14 different reports from concerned tennants. Reports of: Robbery, threats, sex solicitation, drug solicitation, gang activity, drug dealing, intimidation, drug use, littering, loitering. And as others have mentioned there are Chicago Police parked right there doing absolutely nothing to enforce the law. This place is named after the governor, next to the library and university, with tourists and Chicagoans everywhere. What an utter embarrassment! This is what people see when they come to downtown Chicago! It just confirms everything that people here and see in the news about Chicago. How can the city and the police just let something so crazy go on and do nothing about it?

Wow that guy Christopher up above was not lying! There was groups of people on every corner of the park selling drugs, doing drugs, there was prostitution. Probably about 30 vagrants in total. Somebody was threatening to take my dog and sell it. And right around the corner there was four cops just sitting on a Ledge well all this is happening and they totally know about it they are essentially just the Stop muggings and robberies but they are not doing a single thing to actively stop what is going on there! I have lived in Chicago my whole life and never seen a spot as sketchy and blatantly out in the open as this!
