Bhavana S a month agoEagle Creek Park is one of the best places in Indianapolis to enjoy nature and outdoor activities. We have done kayaking and a boat ride here, and both were really enjoyable. It’s also a great place for a picnic, with plenty of open space and peaceful views. The trails are another highlight perfect for walking, relaxing, and spending time outdoors. Overall, Eagle Creek Park is a beautiful, calm, and fun place to visit with family or friends.
Josh Henderson 7 months agoI’ve been in love with this park since high school. I recommend getting the yearly pass. It’s a wonderful place to get away from the city life. Great place to practice nature photography, along with portraits. They have an indoor restroom on both sides of the park. They’re available during business hours. With porta potties located along the main road. They supply kayaks to rent for a budget friendly cost. Along with having an accessible ramp to bring your own. I find the location to be clean, compared to other parks. There’s a few trash cans accessible, yet hard to find. Recommend going during the week, due to weekends being heavily populated. The trails, I’ve never seen to busy. Plan to stay a few hours & to get lost & find yourself.
Jordan Smith 3 weeks agoThey want you to pay if they are in the gate house. The area by the water is the most beautiful. The area outside of the bird area ( the clear water) the water is all muddy due to boats and stinks. Long hikeing trails. Lots of bathrooms.
Ian Bortolotti a month agoOne of Indianapolis' greatest resources. This is one of my go-to spots for spontaneous hikes and kayak excursions. If you can, make sure to hit the bird sanctuary during migratory periods. Lots of landscape diversity depending on which trail you choose: from flat and swampy, to foresty hills. This is not your run-of-the-mill city park, it's a treasure.
Hoosier Girl 3 months agoEagle Creek Park has great hiking trails in nature. Really good fishing spots. A huge variety of wildlife. Dog friendly. A very peaceful place to relax.
