The area is clean, safe, and family-friendly—no worries about dirty needles or sketchy situations. She was practicing her scooter tricks and had plenty of room to run, jump, and try new moves. It’s such a nice spot to get outside, enjoy the fresh air, and watch the kids have fun. We really like coming here because it’s safe, well-kept, and there’s a positive vibe. Perfect for a little one learning tricks or just getting some energy out. Definitely one of our go-to spots when we want a fun, low-stress afternoon outside!

Carroll Park, a mid-sized urban park, m can be a nice place to rest and relax. It has basketball courts and great walking trails. It is located near major Baltimore roadways. Pigtown lies to the east. Many local sports teams use the facilities for practice and play. As with any public space, always be careful.

The vibrant graffiti art in the skate park is extremely cool, adding an artistic vibe to the park For those seeking a leisurely stroll or bike ride, Carroll Park's paved trails offer a convenient and pleasant way to explore the surroundings. These well-maintained pathways wind through the park, providing an opportunity to immerse yourself in nature while appreciating the park's historical significance. Sports enthusiasts will find plenty to love about Carroll Park, as it offers vast fields for baseball and other outdoor sport activities. While Carroll Park may not rank as the most visually stunning park for me in the Baltimore area, its historical significance and diverse range of recreational amenities make it a worthwhile destination. Its ties to slavery provide a thought-provoking backdrop, inviting you to contemplate Baltimore’s past.

Nice green space just outside of the hustle and bustle of the city... we decided to visit the park in an effort for my son and dog to burn off some energy while a family member was at the hospital nearby. Plenty of walking trails... baseball fields, basketball courts, soccer fields, a playground, and skate park. Picnic tables and benches throughout. My only complaint was the amount of trash lying around and the seemingly unavoidable graffiti.

Nice park. Some areas more crowded than others. Nevertheless, great place to have a family outing.
