I have been coming to Patterson Park for nearly 10 years, and it has been a cornerstone of my life and mental wellness during the part of my life that I lived in Baltimore. Living nearby, these paths became a daily ritual for me—I know them by heart, and they’ve seen me through many seasons of life. Whether it was good conversations with my best friends while walking the dog, or the simple joy of grabbing a scoop from Bmore Licks and sitting on the grass, this park is the heart of the community. It offers such a rich variety of experiences: I’ve played pickup soccer in the annex, swam laps in the pool, and spent afternoons browsing the flea market or listening to live music by the Pagoda. There’s a beautiful, historical feel to the stone gates and bits of architecture that feel like connections to the past. In the spring, the blossoms are wonderful and give me the first glimpse of emerging from winter, and the fall foliage is some of the best in the city. Patterson Park is a breath of fresh air in the swirl of the rest of city life. I hope it continues to be a place of rest and connection for everyone who visits for decades to come.

Patterson Park is soooo beautiful! Definitely one of the hidden gems of Baltimore. The ducks were so cute and the trail around the park is huge. We didn’t even see all of the park. It’s a great picnic spot.

This is a big city park in Baltimore that has everything you need. Wonderful monuments & towers that light up at night! You can also go inside during the daytime. A nice view of downtown because of the elevation. A playground & dogpark. It’s even got shops nearby across the street

A very nice park in the metro area, not far from the harbour. A nice place to walk your pets, look at the pond and enjoy the outdoors.

2025: we come to play soccer every Thanksgiving morning. This year was a little different. They have school bus yellow turf now. Its an interesting choice of color. But besides that, they had plenty of picnic tables for us to join around after the soccer game. Had to use port-a-potty to use the bathroom unfortunately but they were fairly clean.
