My Family engaged at the Fishing Day experience with community service officials today and it was a hit. We will make this a yearly event, they explained safety, demonstrated how to fish, location was beautiful, and they provided all materials. Bonus: my son caught a blue gill in a matter of 20 minutes, his first catch! We almost caught a school of fish but we had to cut time short for a couple of birthday parties.

I live like 40 minutes away from this park, but it’s definitely worth it every time I visit this park when I have my free time I love to come here now only does it have many other beautiful sceneries, but there’s always events it connects to many other parks and there is connections to the other side to the city They also have a nice cookout place with water and provide clean bathrooms everything about this park is nice.

Beautiful park right on the river. Rental hot tub boats and a boat landing. Beautiful views of the city

Very nice riverside park. Lots of free space for running around or picnics. They have a few covered areas for events and a play structure for kids. This park is also along the main trail and so is a good place to rest while covering the full trail.

This place is beautiful, it was my first time to go for a short walk and enjoy the view of the Mississippi river. 😍
