A vibrant little park with sand volleyball, basketball courts, baseball diamonds, playground, grills, walking path & 2 lookouts over the Mississippi River, etc. Some off street parking available in the small lot.

The Herons nesting is actually really amazing. So many beautiful, powerful birds soaring around the trees is facinating to me. Awesome smaller park with a very small parking lot. Great place to spend an hour or two, detached from technology and remember that we have wonderful nature areas without screens.

This park is a pretty great place for families or for playing sports it has a large playground, basketball and volleyball courts, two baseball diamonds, a field to play soccer in though there aren't goals, and a pool. This place has an absolute ton of amenities. As such it's not really a place to go to relax and is more a place to go with a bunch of people and play around.

There's a heron/egret/cormorant rookery that is accessible and viewable from this park. I come here annually in April and May to see the birds return to the two islands off the park in the Mississipi river.

It was a nice little park. It has picnic tables and grills. And access to the river bank. Also a pool. We enjoyed grilling here with the kids.
