This is very sad. This place was so beautiful a couple of years ago when the playground got a refresh, but it has quickly gone downhill with every year. It’s a popular park for parties, and that is great, until the trash is all over. The lake was full of trash, the surroundings of the splash pad were full of trash and cigarette butts. This was hands down one of Omaha’s best parks to bring kids on a summer day, and in just a couple years is becoming the worst. Public policy and public spaces can only do so much to renovate communities; if the community does not collaborate, we will never have nice things.

I've been to this park more than any other one at this point. It's such a nice park. Lots of fowl to watch swimming around, the lake is beautiful and it has a good playground area for the kiddos. There have been a few times I've noticed people not cleaning up after their dogs, and there is poo from the geese/ducks. There is plenty of seating, so thankfully, you don't have to sit on the ground. Might get some whiffs of cannabis. It seems pretty normal around the park to smell it, between all the parking or the occasional person smoking in the park itself. All in all, it is a great park. It's well taken care of and worth going to. Would recommend and will definitely be coming back.

Been going to this park for years. Has an amazing playground, a small pond, tons of picnic tables with grills. Lots of open space to fly kites and play Frisbee. Has lots of ducks and geese and you can fish. Has a basketball court and a nice paved path to walk around the pond.

Always packed but Ive never had any issues !! Fun times!

Nice park. Walking trail around the lake. Nice variety of animals around the lake; fish, turtles, ducks, and other birds flying around. Basketball and tennis court. Colorful Playground and splash pad for kids. Tables to sit down, and benches on the trail to sit and relax with friends and family.
