Rolly Uclaray 3 months agoI’ve been coming to Cougar Creek Park for a couple of years now, and it’s one of my favorite places to unwind and spend time with family and friends. The location is ideal—close enough for a quick trip, yet tucked away from the busy main streets, which gives it a peaceful, relaxing vibe. The park offers a lot of amenities that make it great for everyone. There are plenty of table areas perfect for birthday parties, picnics, or casual gatherings. The open field is excellent for flag football, frisbee, or just running around, and the playground is always a hit with the kids. For those who enjoy staying active, there’s a well-maintained tennis area and a scenic walking trail that’s perfect for a morning jog or an evening stroll. One of the biggest hits with my kids is the splash pad. During the scorching Las Vegas summer days, it’s an absolute lifesaver and a ton of fun—they could spend hours there without getting bored. What really sets Cougar Creek Park apart is how well it balances space, fun, and relaxation. It’s clean, family-friendly, and has something for everyone—whether you’re looking to play sports, enjoy nature, or just let the kids burn off energy. I can’t recommend it highly enough for families, friends, or anyone looking for a great outdoor spot in Las Vegas!
RICHARD MORALES a month ago🫤 this park needs a renovation. The only good shade is in the center picnic area. The grounds are dirty. You can tell homeless use it at night. There was homeless there sleeping under a table right next to the playground during the day. It is spacious. It's good for elders. Had a nice trail. Exercise equipment for the elderly. Looks like a good community surrounds it. But the park could be better.
Atlas Explorer 5 months agoThis park is a low-key gem in the southwest. Clean, well-lit, and calm — especially at sunset. The sky here turns full pastel mode with pinks, purples, and deep blues that feel unreal for a neighborhood park. Playground is modern and shaded, paths are smooth for walks or scooters, and it feels safe and quiet without being dead. Great spot for families, evening walks, or just sitting and letting the Vegas heat bleed off as the lights come on. If you live in SW Vegas and haven’t caught golden hour here yet, you’re missing out. Simple, peaceful, and consistently well maintained. 🌅🌴
Elizabeth Ciufo a month agoFantastic park! All kinds of amenities. Beautiful, covered play areas, splash-style water park, tennis courts, walking paths that are marked with distances, nice, covered picnic tables. Bathrooms are clean, and the whole park seemed very clean and well maintained. The landscaping is beautifully done, and there are many areas that feel more private that the public spaces. Plenty of parking. Highly recommend!
Ari Berkowitz 7 months agoI recently spent an afternoon at Cougar Creek Park in Las Vegas and it turned out to be a fantastic outing for my kids and me. The park is spacious, well-designed, and truly family-friendly. What stood out: The playground areas are excellent—with separate zones and equipment that cater to both younger and older kids. One section has traditional slides and stepping platforms for the little ones, while another offers climbing nets, rock-play structures and zip-line style fun for bigger kids. The splash pad is a huge bonus on a warm Vegas day. There are water jets, fountains and “river” style features built into the landscape—perfect for cooling off. Plenty of nice places to sit and relax while the kids play. There are picnic tables under some shade, grassy open spaces, and paved walkways so you can keep a good view of everything while grabbing a snack or just chilling. Easy to access and comfortable for families: restrooms, walking paths, open lawns for running around, and even pickleball courts (for the adults who secretly want to play too!) Overall impression: If you’re looking for a spot in the Las Vegas area where kids will have a blast and you’ll have some relaxing space to sit back, Cougar Creek Park is a top choice. It balances fun and convenience really well. I’d definitely recommend bringing a picnic blanket, some water bottles, and letting your kids burn off energy while you enjoy a comfortable spot to relax.
