Be aware MOST of these reviews are not of this park. They mistakenly posted here instead of where they actually physically were - a mix of Stars and Stripes and Lake Hefner, itself. This park is just EAST of LHP on Grand. The park is nice but not as large and definitely not as busy as the other two I mentioned. On a Saturday in March, 68° outside, and there were about twenty people. There's a dog park. Tennis courts. Kids playground and equipment. Soccer field. Basketball. There are a few small ponds with vegetation and trails surrounding them. There's large green spaces that are great to let your kids or dogs run. There's also a performing arts center that offers different things for adults and children, although I've not been.

Porta potty was a bit full but to be expected on a Saturday. Ball field was in full use as well as recreation building. Unsure what recreation building actually is. Good path for Running, Walking, Hiking. Beautiful scenery and wildlife ( rabbits, ducks, geese, egrets ) no graffiti. Seemed very safe. I was pleased with the experience as a whole. I did not take pics as there were many children about and it's just rude and unsafe to post other people and especially their kids. Did take pics on other side by the Lake itself. Different review though.

This park has beautiful views and today it was 58° and somewhat windy. Lots of birds to see, many of which were huddled together like friends, even though they were different kinds of birds. I thought that was pretty cool.😎 Enjoyed walking the well maintained trails. My only complaint would be that someone in the city needs to empty the trashcans. They were all full. 😕

9.6 miles to ride your bike all around! Good exercise and was it pretty! Nice trails. Would he nice if the people walking would walk on one side when bikers are on the trail too. Popular place and I can see why. Next time will try for 2 laps.

This could be a cute park, but it's not being well-maintained. The grass is high and it needs new mulch. It's muddy because of the mulch situation. We came in the morning on a weekday. I drove through a questionable looking neighborhood to get to the park. On top of it, we arrived being the only people around. The situation did not make me feel too comfortable and we didn't stay long.
