I Love this lake! It Takes about 30 minutes to drive all the way around without stopping. You can stop literally anywhere to view the lake and fish or relax. Multiple parks around the lake for little kiddos. Lots of places to explore the woods. Clean and well kept. Beautiful water. Great for playing Pokemon Go!

It's a really cool spot. We were there when the spillway was open releasing water from the reservoir which was fascinating to see. The gates across the top of the dam were completely open and people were walking the whole way across and some were fishing. There was also a walking path close to the eastern side that went out into the water that people were hiking and riding bikes on. We spotted fish swimming up stream trying to swim into the water being released by the dam. Pros - It's a really cool location, good views, and a historic dam built over a hundred years ago. Cons - It's dirty, a lot of trash everywhere and the gnats can be bad in places.

Great for morning and evening walks, but also a neat drive around the lake.

This place is very beautiful. Nature can be seen in all its splendor. Some areas seem abandoned and there is a lot of garbage left by visitors.
