Sue Dao N'ym 3 years agoThey recently ripped out all the grass and did it over in astroturf. Sure, it will be eternally green from now on, regardless of the season, but I don't like the plastic smell that lingers in the park now. The park usually hosts events like performances, movie nights, lectures, fun activities, and more all throughout the year. It's a small area beside the University Center; due to it's size, it is great for both intimate and casual events. There is a pavilion stage as well, and it is usually where the focal point of an event is focused on.
Nashi Burke 4 years agoGreat area to hang out with your uni friends. We make a volleyball circle here as we wait for the Tuesday evening service to start. The grass isn't that itchy either!
