Jeffro Tucker 3 weeks agoThe nature center is an asset to the city of fort worth and surrounding areas. We spent Sunday after church exploring different areas of the nature center and a few of the trails. We saw different wildlife, including prairie dogs and lots of different wildflowers blooming. Even talk to a few people canoeing, and they said they were able to see some of the gators.
Cori Muse a month ago🌳🏕️ Beautiful nature center, well maintained. 👀 Lots of wildlife to see, hiking trails, kayaking, a small learning center with rescued animals. 🦌🦌🐈🦬🐍🐢🦅🦆🦢🐞🐛🐜🦟🪲🪳🕷️ 📚🗒️✏️ For homeschool kids it’s great at every step is an opportunity to teach about wildlife, plants, ecosystems, and how to be good stewards of our land. 💕 Highly recommend this place. 👌🏼
RitaForTheTECHOfItAI 2 months agoLove this place! Even seen my first alligator here. Which is a great reason why I won’t kayak there lol the little thing was all curious and cut right at the kayak launch. Have been multiple times over the years. Pics from 2019 fyi— The fossils are so cool!
ANNA Rodriguez a month agoThe reserve was so calm and nice!! The quietness had me at aaa I could definitely hear myself think. Got to see the prairie, some deers over all great place
Amanda Bird 4 months agoWhat a beautiful place - we visited for the first time today and were very impressed with the natural beauty and the facilities like the visitor center, the boardwalk and the pavilions. My kiddo especially enjoyed the animals they had at the visitor center! It’s a great way to spend an afternoon. It was very cool to see wildlife like the prairie dogs, bison, and so many birds! (Highly suggest downloading the Merlin app to see just how many - incredible!) We will definitely be back here to do some more exploring, it is well worth the very small admission. Thank you also, to the staff who were so helpful and knowledgable!
