This was awesome!! Very clean beach. My granddaughter loved the playground. It is definitely for older kids. There are "baby" swings but more climbing than anything. The wash/bathrooms were very clean as well. The walk to the beach from parking was maybe 5-10 min depending on mobility. I have crappy knees took me about 10. There is a fishing pier. Parking is only $4. An ice cream truck was an added bonus. :) i definitely recommend!! :)

Lovely park! I have been multiple times and there is always convenient parking as well as clean restrooms. The beach is very family friendly and there is plenty of space.

Nice place to spend a day. Note: parking lot was closed on Christmas day. Four stars because of no available restrooms at that time.

We love this spot. It can be crowded but if you’re not a fan of the Va. beach strip, this is a good alternative. Good spot for picnics and has nice restroom and outdoor showers to rinse sand off before you leave. Nice playground as well and a pier for fishing. Lifeguards on duty as well. Parking was just $4.60 from 10-6.

We've been a few times but this last experience was awesome!!!! our server was really cool. I ordered the Louisiana chicken and he put in an extra order of sauce and said "you're gonna want this" he WASNT LYING. The sauce was really good and it came with a very healthy portion of chicken. Can't remember his name for the life of me but he was amazing. Highly recommend. Food is always good and service is usually pretty good as well!
