The Neptune Statue is a must-see if you're visiting Virginia Beach like we did. It was off the main drag and is right off the walking path. There's a nice beach behind it and several shopping and dining options on the main street. The statue itself is pretty tall with various tones. It made for a fun photo op. I'm guessing it's the mascot of the area.

Neptune’s Park is a really fun place to spend an afternoon, especially if you enjoy being near the beach and boardwalk atmosphere. The location is great, with plenty of energy around the area, live music at times, and lots of nearby restaurants and shops within walking distance. It has a relaxed vibe that makes it easy to just sit back and enjoy the surroundings. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because it can get pretty crowded and parking nearby can be a challenge during busy hours. A little more seating and shade would also make the experience even better. Overall though, it’s definitely worth visiting and a nice spot to hang out with family or friends while enjoying the oceanfront area.

20250411 This is my iconic landmark for VA Beach. This statue is gigantic, and i have been to Virginia Beach the last 15 years, and this statue is holding up perfectly, no imperfections creates by changes in weather and length of time. If you come when the moon is visible, you will see it just to the right of Neptune (see my photos).

Neptune is a sight to see! 🌊 Stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean while flocks of seagulls play nearby. ☀️ Still a little chilly in April, don't forget your sweater 😉
