Taylor Haile 11 months agoThis was an absolutely beautiful park and beach. We liked how the benches were arranged along the stairs. The beach itself was very clean, lifeguards were on duty, the whole area was really really nice. The statue at the top of the area was incredibly gorgeous as well. However, the bathrooms were absolutely horrendous, garbage everywhere, smelled terrible. I fully understand that it's an outdoor, free, public area, but I know they can do better than that
That 1 Kyle a year agoBeautiful park and beach area with a cool sculpture and playground. Parking isn't great besides street parking that we found. Very dog and community friendly area it seemed. Take the time to walk down to the beach area if you can. Be careful on the stairs if you take them and it's wet Don't go out on the completely falling apart concrete jetties, lots of metal rebar sticking out anyone especially kids or pets could get skewered on. Nice sitting areas with umbrellas and wooden pathways around the beach / sand areas Relaxing and calm area for sure Portapotties could be cleaner though, had a bad smell from them
GRAMZDAPROPERPOPPER a month agoBeautiful place to take your family, especially during the summer time. I walk here regularly and the sights are beautiful. I have 1 complaint. They make you use port-a-johns and there's only 2 for men, 2 for women. Idk if adding more port-a-johns is the solution, or maybe to open up the regular restrooms....it gets packed and busy and with the amount of ppl, 2 restrooms just arent enough! But overall, its a beautiful place to hike, have your lil ones play, swim or even bike!
Chris Groppi a year agoReally awesome experience walking through the gate and seeing the beach below. The walk down the path and up the steps was really nice too. Really nice view at sunset. The only downside is there's no bathrooms at the bottom. You have to go all the way back up for the bathroom.
Harvest Photo 7 months agoAlways love this spot. Haven't been able to get to it for most of the year due to construction. My return was for the Northern Lights this week. Also enjoyed the moon rise.
