Beautiful trees, cool breezes, sloping lawns, picnic facilities, and children's playgrounds. Lots of dogs, and lots of smiling, relaxed people. Nice vibe.

Diamond Park has much to offer, including a swimming pool. A delightful creek runs across the northern edge of the park. There is a trail that leads past the bridge that connects to Park Blvd. The trail is quite technical and requires excellent footwear and caution. The rain has eroded the pathways in places and makes hiking here exciting. Pack dry socks if you attempt the hike past the bridge, creek crossing is necessary, and I only noticed one suitable place to keep shoes out of water.

I’ve gone a couple of times. A tiny trail along the creek which was lovely but extremely noisy with the sound of chain saws which I assume was part of a restoration project. Another day I walked the Bridgeview trail with a friend with a friend and enjoyed the quiet surroundings in a relaxing forest setting. We only met only a few people, all with their dogs,along our way. On a third trip back I thought I’d see what the pool was like, but it wasn’t open and the parking lot had abandoned and stripped cars in it so I turned around and left. So, in addition to difficulty finding parking on the street nearby, I’d rather walk the trails in nearby Joaquin Miller. Photos are from along the creek. I saw a sign saying Old Canyon Trail

Great spot to bring kids. There are plenty of spaces for sitting, playing games, and even BBQ! It's often crowded with school kids and there are dogs but it's a fun time..

This is a beautiful park with giant redwoods that greet you along with tennis courts, picnic area, playground and a public swimming pool!!! As you walk east up along Sausal creek it becomes very wooded and shady. This would be an amazing place to play as a kid because there are some many places to explore. If you’re looking for a nice 2 mile hike start at Dimond Park and hike upstream and then take the Old Canon Trail back - you won’t be disappointed!
