I recently visited William Land Regional Park, also known as the Lily Pond, and it truly is a hidden oasis in Sacramento. Having been to Sacramento hundreds of times, this was my first visit—and I’m so glad I finally came. The park offers plenty of free parking and beautiful, peaceful walking paths surrounded by stunning lotus flowers in full bloom. The friendly ducks wandering the grassy areas add a charming touch to the serene environment. Whether you want a relaxing stroll, a quiet moment in nature, or just a peaceful place to unwind, this park is perfect. It’s a wonderful spot for locals and visitors alike to enjoy some calm away from the city buzz. If you haven’t been, I highly recommend stopping by to experience this lovely natural retreat!

Lovely space with ducks and geese. The signs call them wild animals...they really are not.

Very nice park, I came here from Fresno California after purchasing my bond and Insurance for my notary. Very clean park, very spacious. Lots to do for the little ones. My kids are pretty simple, they absolutely loved the swings and the basketball courts. Will definitely be making this a regular stop whenever im in Sacramento with the fam.

Great park with a lot to do. I love the lake areas with the ducks. They even have wood ducks here. They put nest boxes in the park for them to nest in and they have babies you can see in the spring. We went in May and saw a couple females with ducklings. Super cute! Many people were feeding the ducks bread and other junk food, which is not good for them. If you want to feed the ducks, please feed them lettuce, frozen peas, oats, or cracked corn. It is much better for them and cheap to buy. I noticed a few geese here with angel wing, which means they are fed too much bread and lacking nutrition. Please, if you really want to feed them, feed them one of the things I mentioned.

IT WAS ALOT OF FUN!!!! Cheap to get in but food and drinks were wayyyy to expensive. Triple what I've paid at other parks.
