Crissy Field is one of those places that never gets old. The views here are absolutely iconic you get a perfect look at the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, and the Bay all in one spot. There’s easy beach access where you can walk along the sand, dip your feet in the water, or just relax and watch the waves. On windy days, you’ll often see surfers and kiteboarders out near Fort Point, which adds such a cool energy to the area. The paved paths make it great for walking, biking, or just strolling with a coffee in hand while taking in the views. It can get busy, but it still feels peaceful and open, especially around sunset when the bridge glows in that golden light. Overall, Crissy Field captures everything that makes San Francisco so special beautiful, breezy, and endlessly scenic. I’d definitely visit again!

Chrissy Fields has always been a pretty nice place to walk, especially if you want to walk your dog and in the recent years they’ve expanded and renovated a lot of it to make it even more walkable and kid friendly as well with some play areas. It’s pretty nice cause they also teach you about preservation in nature and the views are really nice especially on clear days where you can see both the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, Berkeley, Oakland, and many other places throughout the Bay Area.

Wonderful views of San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge and of San Francisco. Great place for walking, running, riding a bike, looking at birds, flying a kite.

Wonderful place to take a nice beach side hike, and if you have a well behaved dog you can take them off leash at the beach. Amazing views of the Golden Gate Bridge from below, especially on a clear day. Keep in mind restrooms can easily have 10-15 minute line on a nice day ;)

Nice picnic area and has lovely views of the golden gate. Parking payment required if parking between 8 am & 6pm.
