Visited Union Square today and it was absolutely beautiful! The “Union Square in Bloom” decorations made the whole place feel so colorful and alive. The flowers, butterflies, and sunny San Francisco weather created such a relaxing and happy atmosphere. Loved sitting around the plaza, taking photos, and just enjoying the city vibes. Definitely one of the nicest spots to visit in SF — clean, lively, and perfect for a walk or weekend hangout. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in San Francisco!

During the Christmas holidays, Union Square was bustling with people. A grand Christmas tree adorned the square, alongside an ice skating rink and food carts. Live music filled the air, creating a festive atmosphere. Shopping enthusiasts will find Macy’s and other designer stores here. For those wanting to explore San Francisco’s main tourist spots, a hop-on hop-off bus is conveniently located at Union Square.

Union Square was such a highlight of our trip! We’re visiting from Sydney, and honestly, this place surprised us in the best way. There were so many free activities available, my kids had an absolute blast. From table tennis and badminton to chess, basketball, and even corn hole, there was something happening everywhere you looked. On top of that, there was live music and exercise classes, which created such a fun, lively atmosphere. It’s not just a shopping area, it really feels like a community space where people can relax, play, and enjoy themselves without spending a cent. We spent way more time here than expected, simply because the kids didn’t want to leave. Highly recommend for families - such a vibrant, welcoming spot in the heart of San Francisco.
