Great park, kind of tucked away. There are tennis courts with plenty of parking, a nice expansive grassy field, and then a pretty cool playground area for kids. The play area is maybe best suited for older kids (my 5&6 year old were fine, maybe a little more challenging but still accessible for my 2 year old), but majority of the jungle gym is all connected with various ways to get up and down for kids who love to climb. It includes a big regular slide and one of those crazy rolling slides, too. There's a huge rope... thing? Giant spiderweb tower? I don't know what you'd call it but my boys were thrilled. There's a couple of swings (one goofy chair-thing, two "standard" swings, and a baby swing), as well as a few very fun spinning things, and even a balance beam. The playground structure has sails for shade that are mediocre but nice, and I believe I saw some shaded tables, as well as plenty of benches playground-side. The park seemed pretty scarcely populated and at least decently safe - while we were there a family showed up and the mother was so vile, I was relieved to leave and simultaneously absolutely devastated for her poor children who couldn't do the same. Not sure if they were regulars or anything, but it was bad enough it will surely stick with me a while and is worth noting. Language alone would've forced anyone within earshot to leave and I deeply regret not figuring out something to do about it... I was so rattled by it and concerned for my kids that we left in a hurry and I feel awful. Really hope and pray those kids are okay.

I love this park! I actually think it's the best one we have been to. There's so much for the kids to play on and get their energy out! Plus there's also a path that you can walk together as a family and there's also a big open grassy feild that you can play soccer with the kids! There's plenty of benches around the playground area so you can watch the kids play and there's even a couple picnic tables that are mostly in the shade so you can sit and eat a picnic lunch or a snack!

Really well cared for city workers in ABQ .They do a great service all our parks are outstanding

My Family and I had a wonderful time for my Grandson's 1st Birthday Party..🥳 We got the only picnic table right by the playground. It was great lots of room and shade 😎 Perfect weather. 🥰 We were able to use the restroom at the guest club. So much fun ❤

This is a great little park! Especially for children with disabilities! It's designed for ages 5-12, but my 3 year old is delighted by it and can handle most of the equipment with very little or no help, although I stay close in case he gets a little too brave and goes for something that requires more strength or dexterity than a typical 3 year old has, like the cable netting. He'll play here for hours though, up and down and over slides! It's right off the interstate, which makes it a great place to stretch our legs on road trips through Albuquerque, we feel safe here, and there are usually several families around.
