Chloe Dugan 2 weeks agoBeautiful park, lots of shade, beautiful trees and open space, but kinda sketch in nature. Not uncommon to find heroin needles or meth pipes on the ground. Just be careful with kids especially
Anthony Castro 2 years agoThis park is very unique in that it is a place to play Frisbee golf. You will see all around the park stations and nets for playing Frisbee golf. Another feature of this park is that it's very hilly, so it's a good place for a hike. Lots of beautiful tall trees and lots of space for a party. There is also a jungle gym and some of the walking trails are the most scenic in Albuquerque.
Nick H a month agoCan't go higher than a three star review because there are no public restrooms here which makes hanging out in the area miserable for parties. Great park otherwise.
Todd W 4 years agoWhen I relocated to New Mexico from North Carolina in 2020, a friend living here who also had lived on the east coast told me that I would probably miss green grass and giant trees more than anything. Boy, was he right. So what a lovely surprise when I discovered Roosevelt Park recently when I just happened to be passing by. Although now we are in winter and the grass is brown and the trees stand bare, I went for a visit and I absolutely loved this park. I cannot wait for the warmer months to come when this park will be green and lush. It was a nice day, by winter standards, when I visited and there were multiple small groups enjoying the frisbee golf course. There was also a group practicing yoga. I sat for a while in the park and meditated. There is a nice paved walking trail around the park. On the south end there are beautiful unobstructed views of downtown. There is also a playground for the kids. I really enjoyed my time spent here and look forward to future visits.
Kami Snoeberger (K4family) a month agoThis park is in Albuquerque landmark. I think that it's one of the first parks in albuquerque. It has always been my favorite Park since I was a little girl. It still is a beautiful and fun park. It's in a beautiful area of town.
