Large, yet sparse park. There is lots to explore. Over the weekend the frisbee 🥏 golf ⛳️ was fairly busy, but doable. There are picnic areas, but at least some of the tables and enclosures are in need of repair and the stone floors are uneven trip hazards. 🗑️ There is a lot trash floating around. 🪧 Park rules signage is old, dirty and in need of replacement.

Stopped to pass time while waiting for local animal shelter to open. Nice spots to picnic, clean park, tho all trash cans were full. Might have been trash day, idk. But looked as if cans weren't emptied that morning, they'd have quite a mess on their hands.

I was actually at Lake Yahola, it's just right outside of Mohawk Park, they're right next to each other. I Looovvveee sitting and looking the water, and watching people fish. I've never been fishing! I go to just relax and unwind. Very serene! Try it out! If you go in the evening, you can watch the sunset 🌇 😉 ✨️ 😊.

I used to go to this park a lot, it’s easy to give this one five stars for obvious reasons. I think the park itself and a lot of surrounding areas really highlight the beauty of Oklahoma’s trademark natural scenery, especially in the summertime when it is really hot and humid.
