Linda Hernandez (Roses) 2 weeks agoJazz on the Cumberland always a great time to just sit out and chill with Nashville. The park is right off the river next to Shelby walking bridge. Atmosphere is friendly. 🌹 💋 😘
Amanda Lomax 2 months agoThis park was a vibe. And not in the best way. In full transparency, we walked over from downtown in the middle of a weekday with our three kids. It looked and felt post-apocalyptic. The park was unkempt. The signage was worn down. Lots of homeless people sleeping throughout. The splash pad was off. Maybe it’s more vibrant in the evening or weekends? Maybe they have scheduled events that draw more people over? I’m not sure. The only other draw to that side is the Nissan stadium. No shops or restaurants nearby, so I get there isn’t a lot of foot traffic to that side of the river. It was just eerie. Felt like COVID times over there.
Mateo el Sombrerero a year agoAlthough I didn't stay long, I was able to take in the scenery along the river walk some. You can get a fantastic look at the Tennessee Titan's football stadium just across the river, from anywhere in the park. As well as a picturesque view of the pedestrian bridge that is unequaled anywhere else in the city. I recommend a late evening visit around dusk or after nightfall to witness the amazing lights that are on display along the bridges' structural members. It is beautifully lit and makes for some pretty great photos!
Not-a-Bot 6 months agoWe had a wonderful evening at Wasioto ParkClick to open side panel for more information with the whole family! The highlight was definitely the bridge—it offers an amazing walking experience and provides some of the best views of the Nashville city skyline. We also really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere sitting right beside the river. While the playground for kids is on the smaller side, it’s a nice addition to the space. It’s a great spot for anyone looking to enjoy a scenic walk and take in the city vibes.
