Has quite a bit of shade from all the trees which is wonderful with kids in Texas heat. There was a nice secluded atmosphere, even with it being busier than I expected. There are also walking trails, or sidewalks that kids can ride bikes, scooters, or skates.

Love taking my dogs for walks over there. The park is big, has a gazebo for small parties, they are remodeling the playground. No bathrooms. I wish they could make an enclosed area for a dog park. 🐕

Beautiful park but beware, a six year old child was attacked by a coyote while we were visiting on 2/13/24. We were actually onsite at the park when this occurred and my wife was the person who called in the incident. Another child was attacked on 2/10/24.

This is a small, quiet park. There typically aren't very many people here and when people do stop by they don't really stay for very long. There are several picnic tables and grills scattered throughout the park, enough that you probably won't have to sit next to someone else unless you want to. There is a playground for children with a decent amount of activities. Only one pavilion is available at this location, it houses a few picnic tables of it's own, and it's not used very frequently. There aren't many parking spaces but it's never been much of an issue because most of the spaces are empty. When I first started visiting this park there were flowers and bushes in front of the pavilion, an area was dedicated to that, they became a bit overgrown and were eventually removed. Now the front of the pavilion looks a bit more barren than it did previously but the park has been kept up nicely.

Cute little park. Today a pack of coyote starting running across the grass and trees when an ambulance went by so the little kids and little dogs need to be careful.
