It's a quiet and relaxing park. It's somewhat unique, being mostly large concrete structures with various water features. We've stopped here a few times now when visiting the DFW area (we find Ft. Worth to be a less stressful city than Dallas). A nice way to spend a couple of hours cooling off and relaxing.

Visited the Fort Worth Water Gardens recently and absolutely loved the experience. The architecture and flowing water features are stunning and very peaceful. It’s a beautiful place to relax, take photos, and enjoy a quiet walk in the middle of the city. Caution: be careful at the stairs as there is no railing.

This is such an amazing feature! I came over here during a break in a conference at the convention center next door and was amazed at how cool and peaceful it is. Cities need more features like this! The only downside is it made me want to go swimming but the signs explicitly prohibit it! There were no crowds when I went despite it being lunch time but it was also a rainy day so maybe there’s more people normally.

** ADA Note** There are spaces within the Water Gardens that are not accessible for those who are not completely able-bodied. The main level and some grassy areas are accessible by walker and wheelchair. The Water Gardens are a great place to visit, take in the architecture and design, and take a break. If you are able to climb stairs, make sure to visit all three gardens as they each offer a thoughtful experience. The Mountain is a chance for those to test your climbing abilities on the 20" steps... or sit at the base and take in your surroundings. In the quiet garden, there can sometimes be people who are loud. Wait them out and after they leave, give yourself time to enjoy the peace and tranquility. The deepest and loudest garden has beautiful steps and step-over areas where you can descend into the middle of the rushing water sounds. It can be crowded, so be mindful. If you're there when it's not busy, immerse yourself, spend some time watching the different flows of water, and allow the sounds to push away the noise of the city and traffic. When you have time, take a blanket and picnic and enjoy the shaded areas throughout the exhibit.

Cool little spot to see some interesting water features. Not much coverage from the sun so go early or wear sunglasses! Unfortunately half of the mountain machines were broken and not spraying water. You have to pay for parking, just an fyi.
