This park always amazes me with its huge playgrounds. It has beautiful trails too. The washrooms are clean. Often you can spot here wildlife here. If you are lucky you can see an armadillo too. Great place to have picnic here with many picnic tables and grills available.

When I moved to San Antonio last year, this was the first walking trail me and my pup visited. We love this park so much we’re there at least 2 days a week minimum. The trails are great and with water I bet it would be beautiful. Not too long ago I spotted the most beautiful owl. 🦉We love McAllister Park! oh I can also say I would Jesus there too. 🤩 Update: I have to rave about my recent bird siting in McAllister Park. After the rains and late in the evening the most wonderful birds are perked…watching. So keep you little dogs close.

As a google reviewer I haven't had the chance to review parks. I think this is going to be my 1st time. But a first time it was. Along with Memorial Park in Houston, this park is positively beautiful and will come back for sure. It is huge and have everything for everyone. Great spaces, lots of parking options, perfect for family activities and activities in general. Nature is really close all the time, so if you like that, this the place for you. Im already thinking about having a company activity there hehe. Put on your confy clothing and go enjoy this wonderful park. Pro tip: Drive all the way to the center, is less crowded and youu will have nature on a 360 view.

The new pump track they made next to the dog park is so much fun. It keeps my son off the screen and having fun exercising! It’s a win win. And the best part about it is that is was built for all ages and skill levels

Well maintained, paved trails. You can go for miles without encountering another human on some days. Inner trails are well shaded. Playground area is clean with restrooms. Unfortunately some irresponsible dog owners tend to leave dog waste on the trails, so that's one negative. Ample parking available.
