08/04/23: it is a beautiful, local, and clean park with many playgrounds: baseball, basketball, soccer, etc. You can find the children’s playground on the east side of the park. The park is huge with two levels. The upper level has fields for kids and some small trails. The lower level has a baseball field. I enjoyed running through this peaceful and calm park. Highly suggest people coming here

We loved this park. Kids are happy with the playgrounds, adults with the sneaky view of downtown, mount rainer. Taking one star off because some walkways are gravelled and not so stroller friendly.

Wonderful park with a paved walkway and boardwalk completely around the clearest, cold water lake you can imagine and beautiful views if the mountains. This is a place to relax and enjoy the mountain air, or you can find paths to the summit and get a workout. I was with my grandsons, four and two years of age, and rhey walked the entirety of the loop path around the lake finding plenty of interesting things to catch their imagination and test their physical strength. There is a large picnic area with plenty of tables and a breathtaking view . I returned very calm from zhe experience.

Excellent park with lots of amenities for everyone to enjoy. On the upper level (north), there is a big green space and a loop or walking / running path around it, great place to take a walk or job. There are a few small sports courts near the entrance, a few picnic table under a roof. There are a couple of spots along the path you can get a nice view of the city. On the lower level (south), there are a playground and two baseball fields. Restrooms are located in the lower level. As I ran by, I saw lots of people enjoying the fresh air of a brisk morning in the park and a group of folks working out, they were definitely having fun.

I enjoy how peaceful a lot of the parks in Washington are, but this one had quite a bit of people for my taste.
