I love this park. It is a quiet little gem just north of the city. There is a fantastic playground and some large gathering areas at the top of the park. A disc golf course, soccer field, and some great walking trails. The beach is a bit of a walk down the hill from the parking lot. There are two trails that will lead you there. I have never seen more than a handful of families or others seeking a peaceful place down on the beach. You can walk north or south along the sandy beach for quite a way to find the perfect spot to sit and read.

Great park and less busy alternative to Lions Den. Three paths lead to pebble beach with some sandyish spots, two on left side of park and other on far opposite end! More scenic going down ravine on far side of park. Playground area for kids and a big grassy area. Great Lake Michigan access and big stretch of beach to explore!

Beautiful area north of Milwaukee. Quiet place that allows you beach access, but it's a rocky beach. I didn't see any sand but didn't venture too far. From the parking area, take the south walkway if you want an easier trail. The north trail is a workout, but either way takes you through a wooded area that's great for pictures. Attached pictures are of the south trail.

One of my favorite parks in fox point and the area. Lots a beautiful paths to explore n the woods and of course Lake Michigan, with a fair amount of beach to walk along and explore.
