Beautiful park for a walk -- plenty of shade, long curving paved paths around the lake, up and around the outdoor amphitheater, across the grassy areas and between picnic areas. We walked for an hour around and through the park, and enjoyed being outdoors in easily accessible, large urban green space. No bathrooms were available yet in mid-May, but hopefully they'll open soon.

Humboldt Park has so much to offer. Playground, water feature, hills for sledding, paved trails, amphitheater, big old trees for shade, rental building, plenty of picnic tables, etc. There’s so much wide open space to enjoy.

I am a member of the Milwaukee American Legion Band. Tuesday night, the Band performed at Humboldt Park. We had a great crowd on a beautiful evening. Next year, the Milwaukee American Legion Band will perform on June 30th on the eve of the 250th anniversary of the birth of the greatest country in the world. Happy Birthday to the United States of America.
