South Shore Park: Located on the southside of Milwaukee directly on Lake Michigan, the park boasts a biergarten, pavilion (that can be rented for weddings and other events), stunning views of the lake, and a large playground (I didn't include a picture because I didn't want to post something with people's kids in it).

South shore Park is always a favorite. Parking is sometimes hard and you may have to walk far but the area is beautiful and features rolling hills and lakefront views. The beach is simple but less busy than downtown. We enjoy the annual festival and the beer garden as well as the new playground.

Place is awesome because of the community. Friendly people all enjoying a good time. Farmers market is great, beer garden is decent. I hope continued renovations occur to make it even better as the water front could use a little work to make this really something special.

The place everyone wants to be and should be on a summertime Saturday in Milwaukee. What an idyllic, beautiful place placed right next to our inland ocean Lake Michigan. Come for the dog watching and come back for Norm’s farm fresh dozen eggs for only $5 cash. If you’re lucky, you might meet Henry the English Crème Retriever too! I’ve been coming to this part for the South Shore Farmer’s market for years and trust me you don’t want to miss it. 😊

This is my favorite part. I love of it so much. I remember swimming near the dock area because my mom let me swim there and it was so much fun, it was deep but it was fun my mom was standing on the the dock while I swim. There used to blow up the beach during the fortune of July.
