Yes, it's industrial - it's a nature walk in a historically industrial area. The revitalization of nature along side the still-operating train yard bookended by the stadium and the Domes, is worth taking in. The UEC has provided a ton to help reignite the natural beauty of the area. And after a hike, you can try your luck at the Pot.

Beautiful trails, lots of areas for bikes, strollers, skates, etc - as well as hiking, kayaking and fishing. Very quiet and relaxing. A good mixture of natural and urban scenery well blended. Would be nice if there was a garbage can🗑 or two, so people might be encouraged to through things away vs on the ground.

I stumbled upon this awesome area by accident whilst exploring the menomonee valley on foot and it is fricking wonderful! Besides the great Hank Aaron bike trail there are thoughtfully placed trails which afford the weary explorer privacy and serenity getting one close to the Menomonee River proper!

This part of the Hank Aaron State Trail has a great urban trail with railroad tracks on one side and lovely long golden grass on the other side gently towering above the Menomonee River. The park replanted a lot of the same grass that was there when the Native Americans lived in that area along the river. It is a wonderful, re-energizing spot to escape the bustling city life right in the city!
