Municipal Rose Garden

My family and I have an annual tradition of visiting the Municipal Rose Garden, and it is always one of the highlights of our year. We truly appreciate that it is free to visit, very clean, and well-maintained. Parking is usually easy to find, and having restrooms available makes the visit even more convenient for families. There is a large grassy area where people can relax, have picnics, and play, creating a welcoming atmosphere for everyone. The roses are absolutely beautiful and clearly very well cared for. The garden is peaceful, colorful, and a wonderful place to spend time with family and friends. We look forward to returning every year! 🌹

This was a wonderful and easy visit. It is free to everyone and picnicking is permitted. Dogs are NOT permitted. Drones are NOT permitted. Being a Sunday the place was quite busy. Street parking was quite easy.. People young, old, black, white, brown and any other ethnic background all walking around enjoying the beautiful park. It is amazing to know that citizens planned this garden, for us to enjoy, about 100 years ago. The land was bought and purposef by the city, and it opened up in 1937! Enjoy the visit.

I'm not usually a big fan of flowers, but these were really pretty! I went here on Mother's Day, so there were a lot of visitors. People can bring their own food and have a picnic, which is nice. Dogs aren't allowed, and parking is on the side streets, so it might be a little difficult at busy times. Overall, it's a pretty spot to visit, especially if you enjoy a peaceful walk or a picnic.

It's prom season and lots of beautiful teens are taking group pictures and selfie at the park. Roses are in full bloom 3rd week of May. The air is filled with delightful sweetness and I'm thankful for it. 5 stars. Could not ask for a better day.

Visited on 4/5. Many types of beautiful roses were blooming or about to bloom. Rose arches were very nice for photos. In my opinion, early April is the best time to visit during the year since many roses start perishing around summer time. Great for picnics and family gatherings. Tree shades are limited so I recommend coming early to get a nice spot. No dogs are allowed inside the park.
