Perfect location to come and enjoy the scenery. Whether you like people watching as they cross streets or if you like boats, this place is for you. Located right in front of historic Jackson Square with a clear view of St Louis Cathedral , this place gives you an amazing view of everything going on in and around Decatur Street. Legendary Café du Monde is right next door, and a bunch of shops are located right around here.

Washington Artillery Park is a fantastic spot to take in some of the best views in New Orleans. The historic cannons, beautiful landscaping, and stunning overlook of Jackson Square and St. Louis Cathedral make it a great place to stop and soak in the city’s charm. I enjoyed taking a few moments to relax, enjoy the scenery, and appreciate the history of the area. Whether you’re exploring the French Quarter or looking for a great photo opportunity, Washington Artillery Park is definitely worth a visit.
