Went here during the day with our 3 year old while on vacation staying in the French Quarter. Park was a bit dirty, and there were a lot of unhoused persons hanging around. I did not see any restrooms on site, but the kids playground looked clean enough to where I let her play for 5-10 minutes before we left. Definitely would not go here by myself or at night.

A fine place for mushrooms and dogs where people also hang out and frolic. It's basically a modern Renaissance festival on any given Tuesday. And there's a big old statute of George Washington. He was a Freemason and the statue is from the Freemasons.

Nice, quiet neighborhood park in Frenchman neighborhood. It's across the street from Ayu Bakery so grab a drink and Pastry then head over. There's also AIDS memorial at the park. Stop to learn.

Washington Square is a great mid-sized park in the Marigny. There is a large grassy area in the center, surrounded by shady trees and a small slide and play area. A good place to sit in the shade and enjoy a gentle breeze on a warm day. The live oaks and crept myrtles are lovely as well as the small magnolia trees.

Beautiful and clean public park with seating in shaded areas. The perfect venue for the first annual Holi Bhangra Festival!
