Amit Khanna a month agoHad an amazing family day at Pullen Park! The kids absolutely loved the electric train ride — such a fun and memorable experience for little ones. The park is clean, beautiful, and full of activities for families to enjoy together. Watching the kids smile and wave during the train ride and carousel made the whole visit worth it. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was relaxing, and everything felt very family-oriented. Definitely one of the best places in Raleigh for a fun day with kids. We can’t wait to come back!
Crown Point Orthodontics a month agoPullen Park is one of those places I ended up enjoying more than I expected. I went there on a casual afternoon, mostly just to walk around and get some fresh air, and it turned into a slow, easy visit that didn’t feel rushed at all. The park has a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. There were people picnicking on the grass, kids running around the playground, and a few groups just sitting under the trees talking. It’s not a quiet, empty park, but it still feels comfortable and not overwhelming. I didn’t try everything there, but I did notice the small amusement rides and the carousel, which gave it a bit of a nostalgic feel. The walking paths are simple and easy to follow, and it’s a good place if you just want a light stroll rather than a long hike. What stood out most was how ordinary in a good way it felt—clean, open, and easy to spend time in without needing a plan. It’s not the kind of place that tries too hard to impress, and that’s probably why it works. I left feeling like I had a decent break from the usual routine, nothing more and nothing less.
Theresa N. 5 months agoThis park was amazing! I loved that it’s mostly enclosed, which made it feel safe and easy to relax while the kids played. The sandpit and toddler area are separate but still close together, which worked out really well. The bathrooms were clean, the grounds were beautiful and very well maintained, and there were nice paved pathways to walk around. The staff at the ticket booth was also really friendly and helpful. This park truly has so much to offer and is great for families
Curtis Guitreau 6 months agoExperienced the Holiday express event. The train ride is approximately 4mins long, round trip. The park offers various things for kids to interact with, to include a snowball fight (soft round foam balls). The walk around the lake was great! The food, however, was mediocre. $4 for chocolate water (hot chocolate) $4 for a hotdog $9 for a cheeseburger $7 for cheese quesadilla $4 for french fries Recommend eat before or after visiting.
Raghu G a year agoPullen Park is a lovely, clean, and family-friendly place in Raleigh. It's truly a hidden gem! The park's gorgeous gardens and calm atmosphere make it a great spot for relaxing and enjoying nature walks. The variety of flowers and plants is amazing, and the peaceful vibe is perfect for getting away from the busy city life. The park has a fantastic mix of fun activities like the cute train ride, paddle boating, and the classic carousel — all at very reasonable ticket prices. It's free to enter the park! There are nice walking trails, and you can take a leisurely stroll around the pond. There are lots of shelters and play areas for kids with equipment and clean restrooms. The beautiful flowerbeds and landscaping create a very tranquil environment so close to town. We've visited this place countless times, and it's about time I wrote a review. The park has always been kept clean. I highly recommend visiting Pullen Park for a breath of fresh air!
