Went during a Saturday food market. Chill vibes, plenty to see and food to eat.

Outstanding place to visit on a Sunday, when the food market is up and running. Work up an appetite with a walk along the sea or that whale watching cruise and then head for the park diagonally opposite the USS Midway museum. You have a range of food options from stalls to trucks, all fairly reasonably priced. But what makes it a five star is the vibe. The baos and the handmade ice creams were particularly nice.

Beautiful spot. No debating Sunday food market is a must visit. Despite large crowds there are many quiet cozy spots to eat and relax. Friendly service consistently. Dang Bros pizza is great

2022 Food Truck Month, Part 1 Every journey begins with a first step and we chose Lane Field Park for ours. Located on the corner of Broadway and Harbor in San Diego, California, it was there that we caught up with “Gnarly Nachos & Tacos.” We sampled the California Burrito Nachos, hot dog, and tater tots. While each were pretty good, we wouldn’t recommend exercising any sizable effort to sample them for yourselves. Good to know: Lane Field used to be the home of the San Diego Padres from 1936-1957 (when they competed in the Pacific Coast League and before they joined Major League Baseball as a franchise). Also good to know: Lane Field Park hosts a market each weekend that features both food and shopping options, a DJ, and that beloved Pacific Ocean breeze. And that’s…Henry’s Take. #sandiegofoodtrucks

Cool spot for food stands and live music on the weekends. Parking is not very good but the park itself is cool right near the bay.
