h Have been here a few times, specifically to visit the Bali Hai Restaurant, but had never wandered around the beautiful park nearby. One side looks toward downtown San Diego, while the other side offers a nice view of the harbor and the marina. It is definitely a lovely place to spend an afternoon with amazing views of both the city and the boats.

Great location, bustling vibe, fantastic views of the cityscape over the water. The bar will be busy, but try to go in the late afternoon before the sun has set. The City profile lighting up under the sunset is worth it. We have been going here for 40 years to get a cocktail and a couple of appetizers, and always order the Mai Tais. At our last visit service was indifferent at best, so be patient.

This place is amazing. Shelter Island Shoreline Park spans the bayside length of Shelter Island. It features a public fishing pier, boat launching ramp and sweeping views of the Bay and San Diego skyline.

Love the whole area always fun to sight see and enjoy family time walking or shopping.

We were staying on Shelter Island for my daughter's wedding recently. One of the things we all enjoyed very much was walking around the island. There are beautiful and interesting sculptures and mosaics. And, of course, views of the bay and the San Diego skyline. There are always plenty of watercraft to watch and the sailboats on the water are beautiful.
