Great park! Massive, close to parking, good seating and shade. Snack bar and access to fin tourist restaurants.

Nice park overall well-equipped for both kids and adults, and the view is amazing. It’s just a 5-minute walk from my apartment, so we come here often. My little one loves the fountains — it’s his favorite part! That said, it’s not always perfect. It can get really noisy, especially when they’re building temporary stages or setting up for public events. The loud sound systems can be overwhelming, especially for young kids. And when the fountains are turned off (which sadly happens more often than I’d like), it’s a real letdown, my kid gets super bummed every time. Great spot when everything’s working, but inconsistent and often too noisy for little ones.

Beautiful parks on both the North and South sides as well as a great playground on the South side. There is even rock wall style equipment and a huge slide. There are helpful and happy government employees, patrolling security guards, a little cafe, and clean restrooms! All of this comes together as contemporary style grounds that has had some recent updates in the 2020’s. There are many public concerts and festivals on the grounds as well. The fountain is usually full of children playing in the hotter months. This has become one of my favorite places in San Diego! It’s a perfect location for a Courthouse Wedding / Civil Marriage. There is plenty of parking and quite often you will find events and peaceful protests taking place here! I highly recommend a visit or a whole day here!

Fun little park walking distance to several hotels. Nice views, fun playground equipment and an area to play in the water. Being a towel, swimsuit and change of clothes for your kids.

An amazing urban playground with play equipment for all ages. From the basic swings and see saw, to a large obstacle course like thing and multiple spinning rides, this is a great place to kill some time or energy, or even as a destination in itself. Has washrooms and a snack bar with pretty good prices. Everything is clean and well maintained. Close to the fountains, green space, Maritime Museum, and Little Italy green line stop.
