Peaceful park for walking on a summer day. Much better for people in Japan town compared to st james. People are reading books, playing volleyball and all sorts of things.

In just 90 minutes, while walking our dog last night, I managed to fill half of a large trash bag with litter from the park. I absolutely enjoy family and friend gatherings, but I’m disheartened by the lack of awareness and the disregard for proper litter disposal. Please be mindful and clean after yourself!

The park has something for everyone. Come here to play in the baseball diamond, bring the kids to the playground, jog the perimeter sidewalks, throw a frisbee, picnic under a tree, party at the tables, or play with your dog in the fields. There's no dedicated fenced dog area, so please be polite and considerate if you do bring your furry friend. There's almost always plenty of free parking on the 7th st side of the park. There's also public bathrooms here, but I have not personally checked them out.

From the street it looks nice but there's garbage everywhere, the gate doesn't go around the play ground. Found a dead squirrel. Came in January around 1pm lots of good shade for the toddler play ground not the big kids.

Located directly across the street from Adobe and next to center of performing arts theater. is a small park with a bunch of white flags and one United States Flag. Facing the street is a (I think) glass Memorial to our soldiers. The area looks unkept with homeless people hanging out there and the lawn looked like it needed mowing. It's sad but San Jose spends so much money erecting a lot of memorials and Spends no money or time keeping them up.
